Dear Blue Öyster Cult aficionados,
I’ve been a heavy metal fan for over 30 years. My all time favorite bands are Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Pantera and Blue Öyster Cult.
Honestly speaking, in my Metal Youth I avoided some BÖC albums because of the widely known bias of being “too Pop and Soft, not heavy at all.” Now I own a deeper appreciation of music. I have noticed it is a great fun to discover the depth of the BÖC tracks to which I didn’t pay special attention when I was younger.
On this blog, I will post the occasional thoughts on BÖC tracks. Sometimes will try to translate the lyrics into Japanese. Also will post thoughts on the classical metal albums and maybe on a newly issued hard rock/ heavy metal album.
Basically I will write in Japanese, occasionally in English. Hope you will enjoy my posts.
